Terms of Service

Wanted operates a bounty-based marketplace for authenticated collectible trading cards. Buyers post bounties for specific cards they wish to purchase. Hunters submit cards matching those bounties. Wanted physically authenticates every card at our Maryland facility before completing a sale.

All purchases on the marketplace are purchases from Wanted. When a buyer accepts an offer, the buyer is purchasing the card from Wanted Cards LLC. Wanted independently sources authenticated cards from a network of independent hunters and resells them to buyers after in-house authentication.

Wanted is the sole seller of record and is responsible for fulfillment, authenticity guarantees, customer support, and dispute resolution. Buyers do not enter into any contractual relationship with hunters through the marketplace.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter contracts to use the marketplace. You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account and to keep that information current. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for activity that occurs under your account.

Bounties and Offers

You may post a bounty for a specific card. When a hunter submits a matching card, you may approve the submission, decline it, or counter with a different price. Approving a submission constitutes a binding agreement to purchase from Wanted at the agreed price, subject to authentication.

Payment

Upon approving a submission, you authorize Wanted to charge the total purchase amount (card price + 5% service fee + insured delivery + applicable tax) using your selected payment method (card, PayPal, or Klarna). Payment is captured at the time of approval.

Authentication and Refunds

Every card is physically authenticated at Wanted's Maryland facility before shipment to you. If a card fails authentication, Wanted will issue a full refund of all amounts paid, including the service fee and insured delivery. Insured delivery is fully insured for the leg from Wanted's facility to you.

Returns

Because Wanted authenticates every card before shipment, all sales are final once the card has been delivered, except in cases of authentication error or shipping damage. Contact support@wanted.cards within 7 days of delivery to report any issue.

Submissions

By submitting a card to a bounty, you grant Wanted the option to purchase that card at the agreed price upon successful authentication. You warrant that you own the card free of liens, that it is authentic, and that it matches the description and condition you have submitted.

Title and Payment

Title to the card transfers to Wanted upon successful authentication at our facility. Wanted will remit payment equal to the agreed offer price less a 5% platform fee, via PayPal, within a few business days of successful authentication.

Failed Authentication

If a card fails authentication, Wanted will not purchase the card. We will return the card to you at our expense or, at your option, dispose of it. Wanted is not obligated to provide payment for cards that fail authentication.

No Buyer Relationship

You acknowledge that you have no contractual or commercial relationship with the buyer. Wanted is the sole counterparty to both transactions: a purchase from you and a separate sale to the buyer.

Tax Information

Where required by law, Wanted may request tax identification information (such as a W-9) before remitting payment. Wanted may issue tax forms (such as Form 1099-K) as required by applicable law.

Wanted charges:

• A 5% service and protection fee on each buyer purchase
• A 5% platform fee on each hunter sale
• An insured delivery charge of 1.5% of card price ($70 minimum) on each buyer order
• Applicable sales tax, calculated and collected at checkout

All fees are disclosed at checkout before payment is confirmed.

Wanted ships authenticated cards to buyers via insured carriers (typically UPS) with signature required on delivery. Insurance covers the delivery from Wanted's facility to the buyer. Hunters are responsible for shipping cards to Wanted's facility and may use the carrier of their choice.

If you have a concern about a transaction, contact support@wanted.cards first. Wanted will work with you in good faith to resolve disputes promptly.

You agree not to initiate a chargeback or dispute through your card issuer or payment provider before contacting Wanted and giving us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in account suspension and recovery of associated costs.

You agree not to:

• Submit counterfeit, stolen, or misrepresented cards
• Attempt to circumvent authentication, payments, or anonymity protections
• Use the marketplace for money laundering or any illegal purpose
• Interfere with the operation, security, or integrity of the marketplace
• Misrepresent your identity, role, or eligibility

The Wanted name, logo, and marketplace are the intellectual property of Wanted Cards LLC. Cards listed on the marketplace remain the property of their respective rights holders. By submitting photos and descriptions of cards, you grant Wanted a license to use that content to operate and market the marketplace.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraud, or any conduct that harms the marketplace or other users. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

The marketplace is provided "as is." Except as expressly set forth in these Terms (including the authentication guarantee), Wanted disclaims all warranties, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wanted's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the marketplace shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Wanted in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) one thousand U.S. dollars ($1,000). Wanted shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

You agree to indemnify and hold Wanted harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the marketplace, or any content or card you submit.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the marketplace shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maryland, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the marketplace. Continued use of the marketplace after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
